In depth

Verdict

Rolecarr has done well in his first season over fences and may still be improving. He would have finished well ahead of Ballycolin had the latter not refused at Kelso in December. Garleton and Fabalu both stay further than this and the former hasn't raced since the beginning of December while Mr Crystal also returns from a break. BENEFICIAL REFORM won a novice chase at Doncaster earlier this month, however, and thrives on this sort of ground. He wasn't fully wound up when beaten by Ballycolin over 2m4f at Musselburgh in the autumn and should reverse those placings here.
