Industrial Star, Balyan and Prairie Sun are the trio to look at in this small but interesting field, with Industrial Star set to follow up a last time out success. Balyan has been running consistently this season without winning, and although he prefers a faster surface, he is to be respected and can reach a place. Prairie Sun won twice last year, although he needed a couple of runs to reach peak fitness. As this is his first outing of the season, he is taken on, despite being proven on an easy surface. Industrial Star won well at Ripon on his Flat re-appearance, and he has been raised only five pounds for that win. Thewhirlingdervish, second at Ripon, has advertised the form by scoring next time, and although Industrial Star has yet to show winning form on easy ground, he has shown enough over jumps to suggest that he can act on it here. Industrial Star can score again.
