There is little to choose between these on the official figures but it is hard to getaway from the claims of Persian Lightning, now that he has been upped in distance. The form of his latest outing at Pontefract was upheld by the winner at Kempton on Wednesday night and he comes here with plenty of scope for improvement over this trip. Top Flight Queen is also on an upwards curve and should give a good account of herself. Although he is yet to win at this trip, the connections of Exeat are obviously confident that he should not be found wanting for lack of stamina and his gritty performance at Ayr last time entitles him to take his chance. However, he is not the most straightforward of characters and does need plenty of driving to get the best out him.
