In depth

Verdict

Arnica hasn't been beaten far in either start at Ayr though it looks as though a stiffer test of stamina is required, a remark that also applies to Lastofthecosmics. Lemon T is another who will benefit from stepping up as he was staying on at the finish when attracting support at Market Rasen in November. The Blame Game showed potential at Leopardstown in December and was strong in the market on his debut for James Ewart at Ayr earlier this month but failed to figure. GLENDUFF (NAP) started a short-priced favourite on his debut at Kelso in January but inexperience put paid to his chances and he couldn't get to the winner, who had a run under his belt. He can make amends here though the concession of 7lb to dual point-to-point winner Theflickeringlight won't be easy despite the latter being beaten when long odds-on at Sedgefield a couple of weeks ago.
