COOKIESHAKE can make the long journey from Newmarket worthwhile in this finale. He was slowly away and ran green on his debut at Lingfield but will have learned plenty from the experience and this appears a modest maiden. The danger may be Mark Johnston's newcomer Illustration, who is a half-brother to six winners but will probably need a longer trip before showing his best. Lady Sledmere was third on her debut at Pontefract but well beaten on a return visit to the track earlier this month and has a bit to prove now.
