Another competitive handicap in which Press Express, Iskander and Ruby Legend are shortlisted and the final vote is given to Iskander. The selection ran his best race for a while when a close third behind Kelucia at Redcar over 1m last time. The step-up in trip will not be a problem and with conditions to suit he gets the vote. Press Express looks to be on a handy mark at present and he lost no caste in defeat last time when narrowly beaten by Paparaazi at Redcar. He was stepped-up in trip that day and he saw it out well so he could be capable of a big run tonight. Ruby Legend put up a cracking effort here last time when a good second behind Donna's Double. That was on soft ground but he is just as effective on faster ground and as the cheek-pieces are on again tonight he looks to have solid place claims. Fairy Monarch has been running well of late and he is another who could go well at a price, but Iskander hinted that his turn might not be far away last time and he gets the vote.
