In depth

Verdict

It’s difficult to make a strong case for any of this bunch with a token vote going to THE DEFIANT on the back of an improved effort at Musselburgh on his handicap debut. Newgate Angel had little chance at York last time and drops back down in class. She’s closely matched with Frosted Lass on earlier running while One One Seven made the frame at Ayr back in August but hasn’t figured since. Spring Holly may do better now handicapping but Princess Florence was due to run at Yarmouth yesterday.
