Verdict

DUNEFLOWER looks sure to be winning soon on the evidence of a promising recent debut at Newmarket. She finished runner-up over today’s trip and normal progress can see her get the better of Freed From Desire, now rated 78 and penalised for an earlier success at Redcar. Of the newcomers, Scheme has a middle-distance pedigree but Lucky Turn is a half-sister to Fastnet Spin, who won as a two-year-old, and is also preferred to Stagehand and Alisia R.
