        Verdict

        Plenty with claims in this not least La Sylphe, who went close over the minimum trip at Ripon last month with Teetotal a couple of lengths behind. Cracking Choice was beaten a length in a lower grade handicap over C&D last time and could figure but Cumbrian Craic and Starbotton have gone backwards since winning their respective maidens. BALINKA has had a couple of stiff tasks at Ripon of late but ran well in defeat and gets the nod on her handicap debut.
