Alan Berry's Garnock Venture showed improved form to win a claimer on the all-weather last time and is taken to follow up at the main expense of Musiotal and Wendy's Girl. The last mentioned has a 6lb penalty to carry for her Warwick success last month and Bobby Elliott's filly may struggle to give weight away all round. A bigger threat may come from Jim Goldie's Musiotal, who has run some eye-catching races in similar company of late and who was not disgraced in a better race than this at York recently. Westborough seemed not to stay seven furlongs last time and could be of interest dropped to six today, while the booking of Kevin Darley for Reversionary takes the eye. Banded stakes winner Sam The Sorcerer and the bottom weight Lord Wishingwell are others to consider but the vote goes to Garnock Venture. Alan Berry's team could not be in better form than at present and, having shown his best form for some time at Southwell last time, the son of Mujadil has every chance of making a winning return to the turf.
