A competitive finale, with high numbers probably having an advantage. Chelsea Blue would be something of a certainty if her run behind Jessica's Dream at Ripon last year could be taken at face value. But the winner has obviously improved leaps and bounds since then, while Compton Arrow comes into this in good form. A 100 rated horse at his best, he is clearly some way below that now, but he still retains his enthusiasm and should give a good account. Desraya may have been flattered by his win at Newmarket, as he was on the faster stand side, but there is no denying he comes here in good form. The choice is Snow Bunting, who is drawn next to the stand rail and will have the assistance of Richard Hughes.
