In depth

Verdict

Inglis Drever looked a horse to follow when, despite steering an erratic path, absolutely bolted up at Nottingham earlier in the week. It is no surprise he turns again so quickly, before the Handicapper can put him up and he escapes a penalty for that win, as it was in an apprentice race. George Duffield takes over and the Prescott runner will get the stronger handling he looks to need. Luxor has ben running well of late, but he has it all to do to turn around the form with the Prescott runner, while Kingsdon, who has been done no favour's by the draw, has more on his plate than when winning a seller last time.
