Kasthari and Shayadi are the two to concentrate on in this novices hurdle, and although Shayadi ran with a great deal of credit last time, Kasthari gets the vote. This well-bred gelding by Vetori from the all-conquering Howard Johnson yard got a glowing reference in a recent stable tour and he will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to defeat his rivals here. Shayadi looks the main danger as he won in good style last time, but that was only a seller and he will find this harder under his penalty. Toejam has shown a modicum of ability but looks a short runner so is readily opposed. Mersey Mirage is a newcomer to note in the market but Kasthari looks the one to beat and gets our recommendation.
