Tullimoss and Sting Like A Bee are closely matched on the form shown in the race at Ayr won by Carapuce but the latter has disappointed since and may not be too reliable so we prefer to side with Tiger Frog, who may be ahead of the handicapper. Richard Guest's gelding landed one or two nice bets when scoring at Catterick at the beginning of the month, leading at the final flight and staying on strongly to win by four lengths. An 8lb rise for that seems fair and the four-year-old is taken to follow up. The formerly useful flat horse Transit showed his first worthwhile form over hurdles when a close fourth behind Don Valentino at Doncaster recently and has to be respected off a 2lb lower mark, along with Tullimoss, who showed enough at Ayr to suggest that a race of this nature would be within his compass. Stormy Beech disappointed last time but has claims on earlier form, while Gilfoot Breeze, who has a nice racing weight, is another worthy of a mention but Tiger Frog gets the verdict.
