Possibly the most open event on the card and Talarive looks to have as good a chance as any and is taken to beat Gospel Song and Impulsive Bid. Peter Niven's nine-year-old is steadily coming to hand and put in a very performance last time finishing runner up to Majlis at Uttoxeter, with the third 25 lengths away. That was only a seller but this isn't much stronger and he can go one better this afternoon. Gospel Song did manage to get his head in front at Wetherby last time, beating Spainkris by a comfortable six lengths, it will be hard to keep this one out of the frame. Impulsive Bid finished second to the improving Pay Attention at Wetherby last time and looks weighted to go again. Many others can be given a chance on their best form including Heavenly Stride and Jaccout, but Talarive looks the pick of the weights this afternoon and gets the vote
