Verdict
This is a cracking novice chase and it may rest between Jazz D'Estruval, Tribal Venture and Hirvine, and we will side with the latter. Peter Bowen's seven-year-old is improving with every outing over fences and jumped superbly last time to beat the well regarded Eric's Charm. Another solid display should see him make it back to back victories. However he will not have things all his own way. Jazz D'Estruval returned from a long holiday to beat today's rival Tribal Venture in good style at Ayr. The winning margin was ten lengths but the runner up should get a lot closer with a nine pound pull in the weights and today's better ground. Martin Pipe adds further complications to this event by running Meneur De Jeu, a winner over fences at Auteuil back in June. Hidden Bounty a course and distance winner last time adds even more interest to very competitive affair, but after much deliberation Hirvine looks the class act and gets the decision
