This could hardly be more open and the selection of Time Marches On over ex-Irish Still Going On and Len Lungo's Bogus Dreams, who was formerly useful on the Flat, is made with a fair amount of trepidation. However, Keith Reveley's charge has shown a liking for racing over timber over during the last couple of seasons and has now been given a live chance by the handicapper. This is just about his level and he looks one of a handful that can be given a solid mention. The others that top the list of dangers are Still Going On, who has plenty of experience from his time in Ireland. He came up against a real blot on the handicap on his British debut and should be capable of going close if he betters the effort this afternoon. Bogus Dreams is another that spent a little time in the Emerald Isle but obviously suffered a set back as he missed the whole of last season. Now with the Lungo yard, he is one that can be placed to good effect if he stays sound and a similar contest around the north could be on the agenda if he does not bounce this afternoon. Nevertheless, Time Marches On has fewer questions to answer than his main rivals and is just given the nod today.
