Troll, The Duke's Speech and Full As A Rocket are three against the field in this bumper to open the card and the vote is given to Troll. The selection made a pleasing debut when winning a bumper at Wetherby defeating The Longfella. He is a big strapping horse and this Len Lungo in-mate is sure to improve for that debut effort and he should take plenty of beating here. The Duke's Speech rates the main danger as he hacked up on his debut at Doncaster. He beat a fairly moderate field that day, but the manner of that win means he is certainly entitled to plenty of respect here. Full As A Rocket looks the pick of the newcomers, although a watching brief on the market is advised for any signs of confidence. Of the remainder, Blue Rising was disappointing on his debut and will have to improve significantly to trouble the principles, and for the winner we return to Troll.
