Saeed bin Suroor's Ostaad carries Godolphin's first colours and only found one too good in his two starts as a juvenile. Fitness is unlikely to be an issue on his return but we still prefer DESERT WINGS. He's the pick of Charlie Appleby's two runners on his debut third at Doncaster, where he looked like winning when shooting clear approaching the final furlong only to weaken close home. China Creek was a disappointing favourite in that race and may struggle to reverse the form but there should be more to come from sixth Jeeraan. Mutanaweb ran a couple of times over a mile in the spring but this trip may stretch his stamina and his future probably lies in handicaps.
