You couldn't safely rule out any of these on their best form and, with the stalls positioned in the centre of the track, the draw will provide few clues either. Victoire De Lyphar did beat subsequent Ayr winner Barney McGrew at Doncaster last month but is 4lb worse off now and has reverted to type again since. OUR BOY JACK looks to have the beating of Barney McGrew on a line through Ayr runner-up West Leake Hare and was far from disgraced in a better race at Thirsk earlier this month over a mile. The drop back to 7f is in his favour and he gets the nod, though King Of Eden is back in the right grade and could leave recent form behind.
