Grand Opera, Prince Egor and Adraaj are three against the field in this maiden with the nomination given to Grand Opera. The selection was a fair third behind Dream Prize last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and he need only run up to that mark to win this. Prince Egor rates the main danger on his latest second behind Secret Liaison especially as this longer trip shoul;d suit and he should be closely watched in the market. Adraaj is another worthy of respect on his debut fourth behind Harvest Queen. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and with his yard in form he is another that could go close. Of the remainder Luck In Running has shown a modicum of ability in three runs to date and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect in handicaps over longer trips in time and he looks opposable on that basis. This is a trappy affair and the market will be very informative but for the winner we are happy to return to Grand Opera.
