      Verdict

      Nelly La Rue has only won one of her 15 starts over fences but that was on heavy going at Hexham last month and she’s usually thereabouts. MOORSTOWN finished ahead of Victor Thompson’s mare and Massini's Lady at Ayr two runs ago. A later effort at Bangor was disappointing but the tongue-tie is back on today and he could go close if it has the desired effect. Nick Alexander also runs Bertalus but he is out of sorts and so is Purple Harry.
