In depth

Verdict

SHANENDOU can take this for Tom George as she followed a winning point-to-point debut with a promising bumper effort behind Star Lily at Wetherby when today's rival Sheilas Lady was 5l back in fourth. Lilly's Legend started favourite for her bumper debut here last month but got outpaced over that 1m6f trip until staying on strongly at the finish so she'll be suited by the longer trip. Lochnell hails from a yard in top form and has the right kind of pedigree for this as has Just For Pleasure, whose dam was a prolific winner over jumps.
