Riodan and Starbougg set a very modest level to aim at, and the feeling is that something may improve past them and it is the winning point-to-pointer RIVER SHANAKILL who gets the vote. Another Flemensfirth mare, the selection was useful between the flags and if the market speaks in her favour then she should go well, with a test of stamina expected to be up her street. Starbougg is consistent but is a 13-race maiden including flat runs, Stick Together ran a fair race last time but has stamina to prove, whilst One More Gypsy could be one to watch on her hurdling debut. Riodan's mark on the flat has been in freefall this season so whilst he is not without ability, backers would have preferred him to have shown something recently. Aint She The Lady is bred to make up into a decent hurdler and cannot be ruled out, but it is River Shanakill who may be worth chancing.
