Verdict

Jebediah Shine put a poor run when strongly fancied at Catterick behind him with a battling victory at Haydock last week and arrives here with a penalty. He's likely to take some beating but KING CRIMSON struck top form around this time a year ago and that could be the case again as he was headed right on the post at Windsor earlier this month and is just 2lb higher. Compton River has yet to win but has been placed several times from this sort of mark and should be losing his maiden tag soon but Belle Nellie has disappointed since runner-up in a big field at Redcar in May.
