Verdict

Tapis Libre and Joanna Mason carry 6lb extra as they bid for a hat-trick having landed a double with last week's victory at Musselburgh. But KING OF PARADISE also bids for a quick treble and escapes a penalty for winning an apprentice race at Haydock a week ago. Eric Alston's charge gets the nod. Becky Smith won this in 2012 but today's partner Merchant Of Medici came up short in one of these events at Ripon last time and is 5lb higher today. Dhaular Dhar won for an amateur over track and trip last month but was beaten five lengths when runner-up last time and Hubertas is preferred.
