In depth

Verdict

Though still having a bit to prove on very heavy going, HENRY’S JOY came readily clear last time at Sedgefield despite idling after jumping the last and finishing the race with only three shoes. There should be more to come, though he has gone up 7lb. Randy Pike was a surprise winner at Haydock but the form is probably decent. Florrie Knox made all at Market Rasen last month and Trixster had just hit the front when falling at the last at Chepstow. Grand Morning has won twice at Ayr and the handicapper hasn’t had much to work with so he might be well treated.
