Verdict

After a long lay-off, Mayze Bell was entitled to need her run at Hexham last month. She wasn’t disgraced and can reverse that form with third Play Practice. Alistair Whilans’ mare is getting plenty of weight from Ayr runner-up Rivabodiva and also GOGO BALOO but the latter has had a wind operation since her third at Wetherby and is probably the one to beat if she stays the longer trip as her half-sister Milly Ballo improved with age.
