In depth
Verdict
Lopes Dancer had been a bit unpredictable on Turf but was having his first start on the all-weather and returning after a long break when easily landing a maiden here last month. He should make a bold bid to follow up while stable companion Codeshare should also go well as he completed a double over 1m4f here before finding a weight rise just too much for him on his hat-trick bid. BRIARDALE won here in May then a Class 3 handicap at York, form that would give him a real chance, and he'll be better for a recent run at Doncaster. Jim Crowley takes the ride and James Bethell's charge can return to winning ways. Detatchment had a couple of runs in France before making an eye-catching debut over a mile at Lingfield where he stayed on strongly but Lac Leman seems better over further. Gaelic Tiger made a successful debut for Mark Johnston at Carlisle in August and has joined David O'Meara.
