VAN GERWEN was headed right on the line at Wolverhampton last month and, as that was his first run since November, he should strip fitter and can take this tricky contest for Les Eyre. It pays to be on the inside here so Aprovado hasn't been done any favours in the draw though the fact that he blasts out, as he did from just 3lb lower when making all here last month, is to his advantage. Stanghow made all for a comfortable victory at Thirsk in August and had his first all-weather run when failing to match the pace of Silvanus at Chelmsford in October. First Bombardment went up 7lb for landing a similar-class handicap over the course and distance in October and was running in a much better contest on his next start at Catterick. He had New Road Side a length behind in the former contest but neither are well berthed. Art Collection was conceding Orient Class 4lb when beating that rival a head here last month and they race off levels here. There's little between them again and Bapak Asmara led for a long way over 6f at Haydock when last seen in September.
