Verdict

Tupelo Mississippi was well supported here last month and drew right away after leading 2f out. Onward Route couldn't get close to Easy As That at Musselburgh but wasn't stopping at the finish and looks certain to get into contention. Lady Villanelle stayed on nicely from the rear to finish a four-lengths second at Kelso with the remainder in another parish so she should improve enough to get competitive. Gordon Elliott sent GETABOY to Bangor in the hope of losing his maiden tag but he bumped into Faivoir, who has won again under a penalty, so he's taken to go one better. Nicky Richards has had his horses in superb form so the newcomer Murvagh Beach, a son of Doyen, is one to note.
