Verdict

WAGNER stands out on a close-up third at Taunton in January. That was the point-to-point winner’s debut over hurdles and normal progress and a subsequent wind operation could see him off the mark. Hit The Rocks was no match for the winner when runner-up at Plumpton but should be thereabouts at the finish again and is preferred to stablemate Motdepas, who looked beaten when unseating at Huntingdon. Corrie Lake has won a bumper but has yet to figure over timber and the rest are even harder to recommend.
