Longroom had returned to a winning mark over track and trip last time and duly got his head back in front. But LORD OF THE GLEN was less than a length behind on that occasion and can take his revenge on today’s more favourable terms representing last year’s winning yard. Fair Alibi found the selection too good here back in September but Klopp finished in front of Qaaraat when runner-up at Wolverhampton and can figure again. Indian Pursuit has won here in the past though tends to save his best for Chelmsford having won two of his last three outings at the latter track.
