Stargazer has won again here since landing this in 2018 but last year’s winner RAYMOND TUSK is fancied to make another bold bid. The Hannon charge wasn’t at his best over a shorter trip on the Fibresand at Southwell last time but is taken to confirm running with last year’s third Mildenberger back over today’s distance. Mark Johnston’s stayer also has a leading chance if reproducing his second in Group 3 company over track and trip during the summer with Rainbow Dreamer behind though the latter can reverse earlier running in the Northumberland Plate on much better terms with the winner Australis. Alan King also runs 2019 Northumberland Plate winner Who Dares Wins, who won the Queen Alexandra over 2m6f at Ascot in June and is another to consider.
