NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

A low-grade handicap in which RUKWA (NAP) can go one better than when runner-up to Peltwell at Wetherby as the winner has completed a hat-trick subsequently and is now rated 105. Dancing Doug has yet to win in 19 starts but started favourite at Carlisle last time when falling at the last, though he looked held at the time. Izzy's Champion was beaten a long way when third at Kelso but the veteran Kilcaragh Boy ran better at Hexham, though some rain would aid his cause. McGarry has yet to reach a place over timber but had dropped to his lowest-ever mark when fourth at Sedgefield and could provide the main threat.
