In depth

Verdict

CADAMOSTO has been ready to make his debut for some time but has been withdrawn a couple of times. A £130,000 yearling by No Nay Never out of a 6f winner he can make a winning start. Silver Surfer started a short-priced favourite for the opening juvenile race of the Turf season at the Curragh but never got close enough to mount a challenge though should be better for the run. Jim Bolger won that race and has the Dawn Approach colt Strapped engaged here. Black Pepper is a half-sister to Point Reyes, who won over a mile here as a two-year-old.
