Janeymac easily scored over fences in Ireland last summer and, though showing nothing in two starts for new connections, will be expected to do better. Shaka The King has been well beaten in all starts over timber and makes his handicap debut under a big weight but EMISSAIRE stepped up to 2m5f at Kelso and ran his best race to date. He should have no problems with the longer trip and his rider takes a very handy 10lb off. Our Cilla, a dual winner on the Flat, wasn't beaten far when runner-up over track and trip last time and a similar run would see her in the frame while Master Newton produced his best run when a close second on fast ground at Sedgefield in September so conditions should be in his favour.
