Embra may be able to step up on his previous efforts now handicapping and is suggested in an open race. Tim Etherington's colt failed to land a blow on either of his first two starts but there was much more to like about his third in a Musselburgh maiden last month. The winner and the second have both run well since and he wouldn't need to find too much improvement on his bare form to be a factor here whilst the trainer knows the family well as he also handled this one's brother, Fullandby. Wotashirtfull may benefit from the fitting of cheekpieces and has the ability to score whilst Grudge also ran well at Catterick when just over a length behind Kyzer Chief. Kyzer Chief had previously chased home Big Slick in April and is again closely matched with Mel Brittain's runner who was taken off his feet before staying on strongly when in search of his hat-trick at Carlisle. We can't leave Second Opinion or Select Committee out of our thinking either so all in all this looks really competitive and our support for Embra will only be token.
