Young Jay needs to step up on previous efforts but Vittachi shouldn't be far away again having only gone down by half-a-length over track and trip last month after scoring at Musselburgh. Valantino Oyster was third at Musselburgh on Tuesday having beaten Dean Iarracht at Beverley last month. SPIEKEROOG also had Dean Iarracht behind last time and should confirm the form. This trip is plenty short enough but, with rain forecast, the ground may have changed by off time and that would bring his stamina into play. The top weight gets a tentative vote for an in-form yard.
