Lady Gargoyle beat Torero by a length in an amateurs' handicap over 1m6f at Musselburgh last time but there shouldn't be much between the pair on today's revised terms. Petella stays well but probably has a few pounds too much at present while Hunters Belt showed little over hurdles at Cartmel last month, though should strip fitter here. FILIA REGINA showed a massive improvement for the step up 1m6f at Yarmouth, winning by eight lengths without coming off the bridle. A 6lb penalty is unlikely to prevent a follow-up as she still has plenty of scope, unlike the majority of her rivals. Mr Vendman is another to appreciate longer trips of late and he should make the frame again receiving weight all round.
