        Verdict

        Kenny The Captain can probably be forgiven a poor effort over an extra furlong at Chester last tine and he was drawn out wide and never got into contention. He has claims on earlier placed efforts at Carlisle and Ripon but NOBLE ASSET is still preferred. He showed the benefit on his York debut when running Skye's The Limit to a short head over 5f at Catterick. Possibly unlucky that day, compensation awaits here. Idamante is also improving with experience and there are possibly races to be won with Crakehall Lad, though probably over further.
