Joe Fanning looks an interesting jockey booking on FATHEY and he has our vote ahead of Eye For The Girls with Pipers Piping also considered in division one of a low grade handicap. After going close on his return from just shy of 200 days away from the racecourse the pick should be able to build on that racing off the same mark. It's interesting that Joe Fanning has decided to ride him again and he should be the leading player. Eye For The Girls also went pretty close when finding just the one too good on his seasonal bow. Looking back through his best form he would like some cut in the ground which might take this away from him. Pipers Piping is a three time winner on the all-weather but is yet to score on turf. He does act on grass and on the pick of his form looks light in the weights. Imperial Djay is another turf maiden but is allowed to go off only a pound worse off than when last in front while Cool Art might be value for a place based on his best. It's a race that shouldn't take a great deal of winning and Fathey looks to have the best chance of doing just that.
