FIRST CLASS FAVOUR was promising enough on debut to suggest he can land this maiden at the expense of Melodize while Choose Wisely should be better than he showed on his first run. The selection stayed on well under pressure on similar ground during his debut at Doncaster and should be able to build on that. The form from that contest is looking strong and Tim Easterby seems to have found a good opportunity for him to get off the mark. Melodize's run behind the The Sydney Arms on debut may look a whole lot better when this race gets underway. Connection pulled him out of an engagement yesterday so we can surmise that they fancy their chances here more. Choose Wisely will probably be seen to better effect once taking on longer trips but did beat home a subsequent winner on debut so he remains of interest. Wild Hysteria looks the pick of a trio of newcomers and looks bred for success over this far but with experience under the saddle already First Class Favour looks the call.
