MAGICAL STAR is given the vote to land the opener at the expense of Ivan's A Star and Tagena. The selection is a newcomer from the powerful stable of Richard Hannon who will have put a lot of work into his filly. His stable jockey and son in law Richard Hughes takes the mount and the market should be the best guide to his chances. Ivan's A Star has experience on his side with three runs under his belt. He ran a personal best after finishing second at Kempton last time out and it will not be long before he is breaking his maiden tag. Tagena is another that will improve for his first outing. David Evans has him team of horse in good order and does exceptionally well at this venue so any market moves should be noted. Magical Star is a well bred filly form a top yard and is sure to give her supporters a good run for their money.
