Verdict

Philip Kirby won this with a 20/1 chance last year so watch out for Due East, who is a half-sister to two winning bumpers. Sainte Ladylime is out of a Flat-bred mare so should have enough pace but Miss Joeking has a very strong jumping pedigree, as has Freddy Coole who is out of a point-to-point winner. The market should give pointers to the remainder though JURBY has all the credentials to make a successful debut. His stable is always to be feared in these events and he's a half-brother to two Flat winners and out of a mare who also won on the Flat.
