Verdict
Donna's Delight won an Ayr bumper on soft ground and showed his liking for heavy going when making a successful debut over timber at Carlisle where he looked certain to be suited by this sort of trip. Hear No Evil did well enough in bumpers and looks a smart recruit to hurdles after an impressive opening victory over today's rival Imperial Eloquence at Aintree, though he's yet to face testing ground. Senor Lombardy won a point and a bumper before beating COOLE HALL over this sort of trip at Kelso and he'll have no problems with the going. However, the runner-up is 7lb better off and was staying on strongly at the finish so can return to winning ways after an earlier victory at Kelso.
