Verdict

Some promising types in this but KATESON sets a decent standard on his win on soft ground at Chepstow. Tom Lacey’s grey was very novicey on his hurdles bow but the fact that he still came home in front bodes well for the future. Morning Vicar will be a danger if transferring ability in bumpers to hurdles and Eclair D'ainay was second at Auteuil in March and has joined Dan Skelton. Drunken Pirate won a bumper here in good style earlier this month while Mr Pumblechook got going too late when third at Bangor. He’s preferred to the likes of The Wolf and Hook Lane Roobee of the others.
