In depth

Verdict

Pearly Prince went close on the all-weather off a similar mark last time and debuts on Turf today. Pike Corner Cross won at Kempton last month and is 4lb higher but Pink Ribbon and Loving Your Work failed to cope with a rise in the weights last time having won their penultimate starts. Glens Wobbly ran well over 1m3f here a week ago and is preferred to Ravenous but CRITICAL SPEED is the least exposed having found only one too good at Leicester on her handicap debut and Sylvester Kirk’s filly gets the nod to open her account with further progress likely.
