    Verdict

CARBUTT’S RIDGE is penalised for winning at Nottingham last week but he scored by three lengths and should make another bold bid. Fort Jefferson is another recent winner but he was partnered by a 5lb claimer when scoring at Leicester and also carries 6lb extra today. Betsalottie won on the all-weather last month and Beleave has recorded both wins to date on the Polytrack. Totally Committed returns to action with jockey bookings suggesting he’s preferred to stablemate Bond Trader.
