Verdict
A competitive opener but top weight Vale Of Iron should give a good account as he was a very easy winner in a lower grade on Polytrack 12 days ago. Brandon Castle hasn't been at the top of his game lately but has now fallen to an attractive mark. Onorina won narrowly on Turf at Lingfield last month but that was over 1m6f. That was also the distance over which HATSAWAY scored at Salisbury last week but he'd won over this trip at Brighton earlier and may be improving quickly enough to complete the hat-trick. Duke Of Sonning, First Avenue and Mr Fickle will all be back over hurdles in the near future.
